Cleveland. Although I guess one could argue that it became Bregman. I think more than anything, this losing streak pretty much brings us back to our level. That ten game winning streak was pretty...

Re: Astros @ ChiSox - Series Thread (June 8-10)

Time to get real about post-season expectations, shed the AAAA types like Valbuena, M. Gonzalez, & Villar, and put the talent at the top of the batting order. Altuve flourished in the lead-off...

Re: Astros @ ChiSox - Series Thread (June 8-10)

Yes the Astros have lost 6 in a row and have pretty much been an albatross the last week, BUT last night was really just bad luck. I think every single batter got legitimately robbed at least once. We...

I'm actually okay with Springer leading off. The lineup breaks down after Altuve. I think moving Correa to third makes a lot of sense. Nobody hitting below the Mendoza line should be hitting higher...

Is it my imagination or have all our hitters started over swinging? It looks like everyone is trying to hit a tape measure shot with every at bat. I've noticed that even Tucker has been pulling his...

My line-up: 1) Springer (only because he has been killing it since moving to the lead-off spot and Altuve has been somewhat struggling) 2) Altuve (the guy is made to advance runners) 3) Correa (I...

Re: Astros @ ChiSox - Series Thread (June 8-10)

I'm in line with the overall thinking here as well. I think Springer has to be 1, 2 or 3 though. With his OBP and speed, he needs to be up at the top. You could go Altuve Correa Springer Gattis Tucker...

When oh when will this team have a catcher that can hit with runners in scoring position? Conger 2-15 and Castro 5-35. Both under .150. 😡

Get lost Carter. At this point we need a few more bats more than we need pitching. To heck with getting Hamels, get some lumber.
